
Throughout the years she enjoyed playing bridge with family and friends and socializing with her many friends at the Town and Country Club. A mother to all of the children in the neighborhood, she was always willing to feed any extras that appeared for dinner. She was a busy mother who kept track of all of her kids while also assisting Tom with the daily operation of the Airport Inn. As a strong Christian and member of Trinity Lutheran Church she faithfully got her family of 5 to church regularly. Together they ran restaurants in Shelby and Forsyth before moving to Miles City and opening the Airport Inn in 1963.Įarline was the last surviving member of the Thompson family, preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.

On Octoshe was united in marriage to Tom Pettigrew in Shelby.

Thompson on Octoin Shelby, Montana, daughter of Earl and Thiel Thompson.Įarline grew up north of Shelby and graduated from Sunburst High School. Earline Pettigrew, 88, longtime resident of Miles City, died peacefully in her home on June 3, 2019.
